Congratulations to all players, staff and supporters with an equally big thanks for Season 2009. We ended the year as BFL Premiers and it is this winning attitude we would like to improve on in 2010.

We have also had a number of requests for sponsorship and memberships for Season 2010 which is very exciting for the club. We also wish all our competitors a successful year ahead and look forward to the challenges in 2010.

We are preparing to roar in 2010 with the key players starting their pre-season and management getting ready to take the next step forward.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING

Business of special general meeting:

Two special resolutions:

1. to formally change the association name and adopt the name "Redan Football Netball Club Inc"

2. to amend the club constitution*

Please note that the proposed changes to the constitution are designed to bring the constitution up to date and are minimal in nature.

The proposed constitution uses the model rules for associations as its base with some additions such as the Statement of Purposes and honorary membership (to meet Liquor Licensing regulations).

There is no reference to life membership nor the specific committee of management positions as it was felt that decisions about the number and suitability of awarding life membership (subject to approval at the AGM) and the internal arranging of board roles and duties should be determined by the committee of management itself.
